What is the Endoscopy?

The Endoscopy operation is done either as a diagnostic or operative procedure and in many cases is done as a combined diagnostic and operative procedure where the cause is found and dealt with in the same time .

 During the operation a small telescope  is inserted which has a light source and is attached to a camera and a monitor used to visualize the internal organs.

The laparoscopy ( Key hole Surgery ) has an advantage  over conventional operations that the operation is less painful and with shorter hospital stay for the patient in addition to better cosmetic results and ability to resume normal activities in shorter time  after the operation.
